The purpose of New Student Orientation (NSO) is to prepare students to successfully transition to college. The orientation provides students with the tools to become academically and socially successful at Capital Community College. The students willhave the opportunity to participate in workshops, campus tours, and meet faculty and staff of the college.
Students will choose a New Student Orientation session during New Student Registration (NSR) sessions (click here to sign up for a NSR session). There are several NSOs to choose from and students will choose an NSO based on their selected degree program or career interest. There are also Open Sessions for Liberal Arts and Undecided students. NSR facilitators can help students choose the appropriate NSO session.
