Career Development & Placement Center

Do you know what you’re trying to achieve as a student here? Do you have questions about your career and life choices? Would you like to talk this over with someone who is able to really listen to you and help you sort things out?
Capital’s Career Center will provide you with more than just help with resume and interview preparation, and finding part time and full time jobs.  Consider the Career Center your partner in developing a plan for your future. If you have any interest in cultivating your leadership skills, the Career Center is also the hub for the Capital chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success, an organization that brings motivated students together to acquire leadership skills and serve the community.
College Central Network

Capital students are encouraged to register in our online employment database, College Central Network (also known as CCN). To use the database you must have an e-mail address and should also have your resume and cover letter approved at the Career Center prior to uploading them to the site (Please call us at 906-5107 or stop by Room 209 so we can help you with this). Employers list new positions on CCN every day, as well as search the site themselves for potential candidates. Once you register in this database you will receive e-mail notices about jobs and related events.
