Laughing and Smiling College Students

Sister-2-Sister is a mentoring program designed to support the academic success of Black and Latina female students at CCC. The S-2-S program mission is to provide additional support, mentoring and encouragement to students as they pursue their academic and professional goals. Students will be paired with a mentor who is a college or community professional who will provide their mentee with coaching, guidance, and support. Sister-2-Sister is committed to the personal, academic, professional, social, and cultural development of each member by:

  • Providing mentees with the necessary tools and resources to pursue, achieve and maintain academic excellence and transfer/career preparation
  • Encouraging mentees to cultivate positive peer and adult relationships
  • Supporting mentee engagement in their learning process, growth, and development
  • Promoting student leadership and service to the community

Your mentoring relationship will provide many exciting opportunities, skills, and experiences to support your personal, academic, and professional growth.
