Hartford Heritage Project Launches first annual Pennington Lecture

On April 21, 2022, at the Capital Community College Centinel Hill Hall, a Rev. Dr. James W.C. Pennington themed lecture series began with a breakfast, architecture presentation, and morning lecture by Dr. Christopher L. Webber.

Connecticut Explored Announces
“20 for 20: Innovation in Connecticut History”

In 2021 the HHP received its third NEH grant, this time to launch the Black Heritage Project, aimed at bringing to light the history of the 19th-century Black community centered at Hartford's Talcott Street Congregational Church and school that stood next to the current site of the college.
