STUDENT TEACHING PRACTICUM

Under supervision, students actively participate in a NAEYC accredited program and a developmentally-appropriate early childhood settings for a minimum of 200 student teaching hours. In addition, students enrolled in this course must participate in a seminar. Permission of the Coordinator of Early Childhood Education, background check and tuberculosis clearance, are required. The grading option for this course is pass/fail. Students complete a minimum of 200 hours student teaching internship in a school or licensed child development/care center. Formerly listed as EDUC 250. Prerequisites: PSY 204 and all ECE courses with a grade of C or above and Permission of ECE Coordinator or course instructor (Fall and Spring.)
