An introduction to using social media effectively in the professional environment.
Students will analyze contemporary social media and design messages in order
to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences. Emphasis is placed
on the roles that social media play in shaping identity and public discourse.
Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENG*043 & ENG*073 or permission of instructor.
NOTE: This course is cross-listed as SOC*107. Students cannot take both
COM*113 and SOC*107 for credit.
