PHARMACOLOGY FOR INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES AND GROUPS WITH COMPLEX HEALTH CARE NEEDS

The student will focus on safe use, pharmacologic principles, indications and
nursing implications related to drug therapy in the care of individuals, families, and
groups with complex health care needs. Emphasis will be placed on medications
used for clients who have acute and chronic renal failure, oncology and neurological
conditions, and multi-system dysfunction and clients who choose an alternative
therapy.
Classroom: 15 hours
