METHODS AND TECHNIQUES IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

The relationship of development and curriculum are explored. Students plan, create, and present developmentally-appropriate learning activities to facilitate development of the whole child. This course may require visits, observation and participation in an early childhood education setting. Students complete a minimum of 20 hours of field experience and observation in a school or licensed child development/care center. Formerly listed as EDUC 222. Prerequisite: ECE* 101.
