A continuation of General Physics I, this course deals with electricity, magnetism,
light, and modern physics. Topics include: electric forces and fields, electric
potential, electrical circuits, magnetic forces and fields, electromagnetic
induction, AC circuits, electromagnetic waves, optics, interference phenomena,
special relativity, particles and waves, and the nature of the atom. Three hours of
classroom instruction and three hours of laboratory weekly.
Prerequisite: PHY* 121.
