Communication Courses
You’ll explore your own creativity, while working on projects designed to develop your skills in writing, speaking, audience analysis, information research, and problem solving. You’ll apply these skills in hands-on production courses, held in the college’s Communication Labs. Choose from courses in TV production, journalism, photography, film study, mass communication, public speaking, and visual communication. View course descriptions >>

Media Labs
Most communication courses are held in specialized Media Labs designed for students and professionals. They include a state-of-the-art Digital TV Studio with integrated control room; a specialized computer lab; workstations; and, a black-and white traditional photography lab with 10-station darkroom.

Outside of class time, you can test your leadership ability and improve your production and writing skills by participating in the Capital Student Network (CSN) student media organization – a student-produced TV webcast, online newspaper, radio podcast, and blog.
