CAPITAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE WILL HOLD ENROLLMENT SATURDAY ON JUNE 3RD

Capital Community College, located in the former G. Fox department store building, 950 Main St, Hartford, will be open on Saturday, June 3rd from 9 am to 1 pm to help new and continuing students enroll in Fall classes. Staff from the college’s Welcome and Advising Center, Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, and Counseling departments will be available to assist students through the registration process and answer their questions.

New students are encouraged to bring their high school diploma and immunization records in order to complete the admissions requirements. Students who have not completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, (FAFSA) are encouraged to do so. The FAFSA can be submitted online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

In recent years, new programs in business and technology have been started at Capital including Cybersecurity and Construction Management, and this Fall the college will launch a new Theatre Arts degree program, in which students will learn from area theatre professionals. Other programs include Accounting, Architectural Engineering, Computer & Information Systems, Computer Networking and support services and management in business and technology fields. The College offers 60+ associate degree and certificate programs in health professions, arts and sciences, business, education and social services, with transfer opportunities to CT state colleges and universities, the University of Hartford, the University of Saint Joseph, Trinity College and other four-year institutions.
